ü Newly improved gripper foot with asymmetrical teeth greatly improves holding power. This tool features a patented gripping mechanism with vertical gripper motion that reduces the wear on the strap.
ü It also significantly reduces effort required to take the tool off the strap under tension.
ü During tensioning process, the handle may stop in a position ergonomically inconvenient for further tensioning.
ü When this happens, the tension pawl can be pressed to disengage the handle from the ratchet wheel and the handle can be moved forward for more leverage.
